Charles R. (Chuck) Lamphere is an experienced private equity and venture capital investor and expert in complex financial structures. Chuck is President and CEO of Van Vlissingen and Co., an Illinois headquartered commercial real estate developer. As CEO of Van Vlissingen and Co., Chuck has led the development of over eight million square feet of office and industrial space and completed well over a billion dollars in commercial real estate transactions. Chuck is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Circadence Corporation a recognized leader in the cyber security community. Previous to co-founding Trancos, Chuck co-founded, and is still a partner at, Vital Venture Capital.
Chuck holds a MBA (with honors) from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, and is an honors graduate of Stanford University (Phi Beta Kappa). He an avid competitive sailor and ice boater, who currently resides in Lake Forest, Illinois with his wife and three children.
